Things to do in Singapore
Singapore Zoo
www.zoo.com.sg
One of the best zoos of the world at a reasonable price (20 SGD/Adult).
Food inside the zoo is also reasonable priced (main courses under 10 SGD).
How to get there:
Take the MRT to Ao Mo Kin and from the Interchange Busstation at Ao Mo Kin take bus no 138
Nightsafari
We are not great fans of the night safari, because all the animals you will see there are at the zoo as well.
But if you visit the zoo, consider staying a little bit longer.
The nightsafari has a show every 30 minutes at the entrance, before the ticket counter (outsid ethe payed area). So if you only do the zoo, spend half an hour more at the place and go to see the first show at 7:00 pm for free.
They try to push people with tickets to queue up for the first “Creature of the night” show. So there shouldn’t be to much people at the other show.
How to get there: next to the Zoo

How to get there:
Take the MRT to Boon Lay, walk through the shopping center and take the bus 194 or 251 from the interchange bus station. Ask the driver to kick you out at the birdpark.
If you do not want to spend to much money on food while at the birdpark, take the chance and grab something from the bakery right at the exit of the mrt.

Chinatown
Chinatown has some interesting Temples and a Wet Market selling fruits, fresh fish and meat and also some living animals like toads.
We found out that the most people walking around don’t know where the Wet Market is. So if you wanna go there, better ask for the Chinatown Complex or the Buddha Relic Temple, the market is located on the ground floor of the Chinatown Complex. It is open all day except sundays, best time to visit is in the morning.
How to get there:
Take the North East Line to China Town
Red Light District
Singapores Red Light District is located in Geylang Road.
How to get there:

Ask people for Geylang Road, not for “Red Light District”. Wether they pretend or they really don’t know it – most people won’t tell you about the Red Light District.
